TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all proposals, contracts, and projects undertaken by Painted Pieces Art & Graphics Inc. (referred to as "PP"). By signing a proposal or engaging our services, the Client agrees to all conditions outlined below. A signed proposal with deposit constitutes a binding agreement.


Client & Site Preparation

Interior Walls, Faux Finishes & Ceilings: Surfaces must be prepared per PP specifications prior to start — primed, spackled, and base painted. Client MUST remove all furniture, breakables, paintings, photographs, window treatments, shades, and televisions prior to the start of project.

Exterior Walls: Exterior surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound prior to start of project. Any required patching, priming, or surface treatment must be completed by Client unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.


Pricing & Payment

All prices are approximate until final artwork is confirmed and approved by Client.

  • a.A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon signing of proposal. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances, including cancellation after work has commenced. Any reimbursement is at the discretion of PP only.

  • b.The remaining balance is due upon completion.

  • c.If the project is billed hourly, all time is billable including travel time, preparation time, and administrative time.

  • d.Additional charges will apply if Client is not ready at the agreed start time and the Artist is kept waiting.

  • e.Tax-exempt forms must be submitted and fully signed prior to project completion. If not supplied in time, sales tax will be due.


Policies

  • a.Changes to artwork must be reviewed and approved by PP. Additional charges will apply if additional time is needed.

  • b.One artist for a day = ONE day of production time. Two artists for a day = TWO days.

  • c.The proposal/contract signer or decision-maker must be present at the job site at all times, or the artist will work at their own discretion.

  • d.This proposal may be withdrawn if not signed and deposit received within 30 days of proposal date.

  • e.PP is not responsible for outside contractors or painters recommended to Clients. PP refers only; Client is responsible for final choice and hire.


Client Responsibility

Client is responsible for approving all sketches, samples, artwork, and proofs. By signing "APPROVED," Client approves design, layout, size, color, lettering, language, and spelling. PP is not responsible for errors approved by Client.


Copyright

All original artwork is owned and copyrighted by Painted Pieces Art & Graphics Inc. and may only be reproduced by PP. Client may purchase artwork for copyright or reproductive purposes; terms to be negotiated separately.


Waivers

PP is not responsible for work done by outside contractors or painters recommended to Clients. PP refers only; Client is responsible for final choice and hire. All paints & plasters are custom mixed and may vary slightly. Faux techniques may vary in color/texture from the approved sample board.

Please give your full attention when reviewing proofs and artwork. PP makes every effort to be accurate and deliver a quality product, but final responsibility for all approved content rests with the Client. Thank you for your confidence in us and for your business.

* PP reserves the right to photograph completed artwork for portfolio and marketing purposes unless Client objects in writing prior to the start of project.
